Their individual commitments to living their values is frankly, unparalleled. They each bring a richness of experience and understanding to all with whom they choose to engage.
1954 – 2011
Doug was the co-founder and principal facilitator of the Full Spectrum Leadership Basic and Intensive programs. His experience with the learning technologies and facilitation methodologies embodied in Full Spectrum Leadership goes back to 1987 where he first began working with the late Jim Quinn. Since 1990 he had been designing and presenting seminars on communication skills, relationship dynamics and leadership skills for individuals and organizations. Doug was a graduate of York University where he earned a BA in Economics. In 2006 Doug formalized his coaching expertise when he became a Certified Executive Coach through the Royal Roads University post-graduate certificate program.
Doug has assisted thousands of individuals with strategies and techniques to bring success into their lives, to improve the quality of their relationships and to enhance their effectiveness both inside and outside of the workplace. They have come from all walks of life and organizations ranging from major corporations to government entities, entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Prior to entering the training and coaching arena, Doug was an entrepreneur in industries ranging from special events co-ordination to real estate. A consistent theme throughout his business career has been his involvement in coaching, guiding and mentoring people through stressful and/or change situations.
Doug was the President of Cameron Communications International Inc. The company motto is “Strength through Flexibility”. His unwavering commitment to showing people how to achieve excellence through advanced personal responsibility embodies the approach that Doug applied to his training, coaching, facilitation, business and life.
Doug passed away peacefully on May 13th 2011 in Kelowna, B.C. The entire Full Spectrum Leadership community laments the hole he leaves in this world, and celebrates each and every day the impact he had in their lives.
